Grilled Burgers Wrapped in Swiss Chard

Ingredients

1 pkg (300 g) Yves Veggie Cuisine® The Good Veggie Burger (4 burgers)
4 large Swiss chard leaves, stems removed
1/3 cup (75 mL) prepared hummus
2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped red onion
16 thin slices cucumber
4 slices tomato

Directions

  1. Grill burgers according to package directions.
  2. Place each burger on top third of Swiss chard leaf. Top with hummus, red onion, cucumber and tomato. Fold in sides and roll up to enclose filling; secure with toothpick if needed.

Tips

When grilling, baste burgers with barbecue sauce if desired.
Use spicy, roasted garlic or Mediterranean-flavoured hummus if desired.
